Sage

Design a clothing apparel brand for a specific subculture involving a logo.

Software: Adobe Illustrator + Adobe Photoshop

I chose the Vegan subculture for this project. Vegan ideals have a rich history in ethical thought and I wanted the brand to make reference to history, wisdom and plants. I chose the name “Sage” as it refers to both wisdom and a type of herb.

A gothic font was used for the lettering of the brand to generate a sense of history. The brand mark is inspired by the facial disk of an owl; an animal associated with wisdom.
